54. International Meeting Swann Oberson 2026
From May 15 to 17, 2026, the Piscine des Vernets in Geneva will once again serve as a gathering place for the international swimming elite. The 54th edition of the International Meeting Swann Oberson, organized by Natation Sportive Genève, promises three days of top-class swimming at the international level.
This long-standing meet is officially recognized by World Aquatics and will be conducted in accordance with international competition regulations. As a result, all times achieved will count as official qualifying times for international championships.
International Field of Competitors
Around 400 athletes from Switzerland and abroad are expected to participate. In addition to top national competitors, leading international swimmers will also compete, using the meet as a form test and qualification platform.
Competitions will take place in a 50-meter pool (8 lanes) with fully automated electronic timing. The program includes all sprint, middle-distance, and long-distance disciplines as well as relay events. A special highlight will once again be the spectacular 50m freestyle “Skins” race in a show format.
Attractive prize money and team standings
In addition to medals in all disciplines, financial prizes will also be awarded—both for final placements and for outstanding performances as measured by World Aquatics points.
The Swann Oberson Trophy will also be awarded to the best team of the meet.
Focus on promoting young talent
The youth category (15 years and younger) will also have its own standings and awards. The meet thus offers an ideal competitive platform for both established elite athletes and up-and-coming talents.
